Version 1.5
Version 1.5 Updates
What was added:
- Added a check so people can only create a certain number of characters max. This only works if the system can lookup IP addresses and people have logged into their characters with this feature (so it saves the IPs) .
- Added the ability for monsters and clones to switch their weapons mid-combat before attacking.
Both cannot switch to glyphs if they are not already equipped when the clone/doppelganger is created.
Note that normal monsters and bosses have a higher weapon swap rate compared to both types of doppelgangers. - Added Provoke active skill - Will cause a monster you use it on to attack you instead of another target in the next turn.
- Added Disarm Disarm active skill - Attempts to disarm a target back to their base fists.
- Added active skill "WeaponLock" - will consume Sokubaku to lock a target's weapon for multiple turns.
- Added the resist-petrify resilience - right now it only goes to level 20. As with other resists, it reduces the chance of petrify affecting you.
- Added a HurtEthereal=true/false flag to weapons. When set to true, this weapon can damage ethereal monsters. Currently only the Vampire_Killer Whip is set to true.
- Added "Strength Down" status effect. During this effect, a target's power is divided by 4 when attacking.
- Added Weapon Locked status effect. During this effect, a target cannot switch weapons.
- Added Petrify status effect. When petrified, a target loses a turn.
- Added the ability for the game admins to set how long the idle timer is. Just write !set System TimeToIdle number'
- Added a warning to the "Final Getsuga" type boosts in the "!info' section so that players are better aware of the after-effects of using them
- Added Trickster effect where there is a chance that the user can dodge an attack. The maximum is 10% (level 10 trickster)
- Added !battle hp' command -- This command can only be used in battle and displays the HP status of all allies.
- Added !scoreboard' command. This command can only be used when there are 3 or more players in the game. It will create the top 3 players based on a number of factors (including stats, orbs, chests opened, etc.).
- Added !score' command. This command shows players their individual scores
- Added a bonus effect to using a weapon that a user has maxed mastery in: Parry. If a player's Mastery for the equipped weapon is 100 or more, there is a small chance that the person will parry a melee attack with that weapon. Using the WeaponMaster style increases the likelihood of repelling an attack, but a person still needs 100 mastery.
- Added a player style leveling notification to let players know when their style leveling.
- Added ability for multiple waves of monsters. The higher the win streak, the greater the chance that more than one monster wave will arrive. Multi-wave battles have a higher maximum reward limit for orbs.
- Added the ability for monsters to spawn other monsters/bosses after death. Add in [Info] SpawnAfterDeath=nameofmonster . added
- Added a Gauntled mode. Game admins can use !start bat gauntlet' to start the gauntlet. The Gauntlet ends when the players are defeated.
- Added the ability for players to increase the difficulty of battles if they wish. Players can use following command !view difficulty and !save difficulty
- Added the game admin command: !leveladjust # This will set the overall level adjustment for battles. Unlike difficulties, it affects everyone at all times. One can use !leveladjust itself to see the current level it is set to.
- Added ax and dagger weapons for players.
- New monsters
- New bosses
- New NPCs
Changes:
- Changed the !ishop list Skills command so you can say what kind of skill you want to see. You write: !ishop list skills passive/active/resists/killer
- Doubles have been changed so that they cannot use the Final Getsuga type boosts.
- Changed the Doppelganger style so that it now has different uses against clones and evil Doppelgangers.
- Changed so that if the file setting is lower than the streak, the monster's weapon levels will increase.
- The magic damage formula has been slightly changed.
- The formula for 4 and 5 hit weapons has been slightly changed.
- Changed the code to try to reduce the likelihood of turn 1 monsters one-hitting players.
- !mystats changed so that it can now be used on other players, it cannot be used on NPCs or monsters (you need the skill analysis for that). Just use it as !mystats for your own and !mystats person to look up the other person.
- Changed so bosses no longer spawn under Streak #10.
- Changed /me throw so that you don't HAVE to enter a number if you only have 1 of an item.
- Changed some things in the way monsters are boosted when added before players join battle.
- Changed the ElementalSeal skill to affect all targets of an AOE magic attack instead of just the first target.
- Changed the penalty for spamming the same tech/attack to be much harsher. It is now possible to lose style ranks (just like in Devil May Cry).
