This page contains answers to questions and explanations that are considered helpful and relevant to the majority of werewolf players. These generally relate to how the bot works and how/why things are done, rather than addressing specific gameplay tips that vary from network to network.

Are wolf kills always listed first? Is a suicidal lover always listed immediately after the person they were in love with?

Kills performed during the night are essentially random. After all night kills are written in the room, chained deaths occur in the correct order.

Which roles can never be cursed?

True wolves (i.e. those who have access to the command kill and wolf cub), Monster, mad scientists, Seer, Oracle, Fool und Jester must never be cursed. All other roles can be cursed.
Real Wolves (except for werekitten), Monster and mad scientists are always considered Wolf' anyway, so it would be pointless for them to be cursed. For werekitten, a curse would largely defeat the role's purpose. Fools and court jesters win by being elected during the day, and being cursed would give them an unnecessarily large advantage to achieve that, possibly to the detriment of everyone else (fool).
Seers and Oracles are the only roles affected by Cursed Citizens. If they could be cursed themselves, chances are there's no one lying in wait to confuse their senses and increase the overall power of the village.

Several individuals have targeted the vengeful spirit. What team are they on?

If a wolf-aligned Vengeful Ghost kills another Vengeful Ghost, that new RG will join the village team (and therefore kill wolves). Otherwise, non-wolf kills (like Hunter, Death Totem, etc.) take precedence over wolf kills to determine which side they join . All non-wolf kills will cause the RGs to line up with the wolf, even if the kill was performed by a neutral role. Should the vengeful ghost commit suicide due to being infatuated, they will take revenge on the team that killed their lover according to the above rules.

How does night delay work in villager game?

After all the night roles in the villager game have been played, the night will last a few more seconds before ending. There is no minimum or maximum cap, so the night can end immediately after all night reels are traded, or last until the night expires. However, both possibilities are very unlikely. The delay has the form of a normal distribution with the mean of a delay of 5 seconds and a standard deviation of 1.5 seconds. Negative results are treated as a 0 second delay when night rolls are active. If all night rollers are dead, the delay starts at the beginning of the night and the absolute value of the result is used to determine the delay.

What happens when the harlot visits a lycan that wolves (or someone bitten by an alpha wolf) are targeting?

Lycans bitten by wolves or by Alpha Wolf transform at the beginning of the day. This means that the wench will survive if a harlot visits her the night before her transformation. Once they transform, they are treated like normal wolves and will kill any visiting Harlots. This is a special case regarding harlots visiting the wolves' victim - wolves will not kill a visiting harlot even if they target a lycan victim, as this would give the village information that the person who visited the harlot was was the lycan.
